Application process and deadlines for Chemistry Master Study:


Before the application process starts, please fill in our Application Form

To begin the process 1 st June 2018, please register in the Online Enrollment System between 1st June and 31 July 2018 and attach all required documents: https://rekrutacja.amu.edu.pl/Site/Logowanie/Zaloguj 

  1. Application to the Vice-rector for Student’s Affairs – you have to write this application yourself, asking for admission for the degree course you are interested in ( a cover letter);
  2. BA diploma (legalized or with APOSTILLE) entitled to apply for admission in the country issuing the document. To learn about legalization you must go to the Polish Embassy in the country of the document issue. Legalization is done when you receive a stamp of Polish Embassy on your diploma. Without legalization, we cannot start the recruitment process;
  3. Diploma issued by universities in English, Translation of the BA diploma into Polish or into English made by a certified translator approved by the Government of the country issuing the document;
  4. Proof of English proficiency, if you have one. If not, you will have an interview testing your English;
  5. Photocopy of passport or ID;
  6. Proof of payment of registration fee in the amount of 50 Euro.

Candidates with BA diploma in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology and any other related fields to Chemistry will be accepted without any additional conditions. Students with BA diploma in fields not much related to Chemistry will be asked for a review verifying their Chemistry knowledge.

If all documents are accepted, within 2 weeks a decision about admission can be issued and sent to the address indicated during the recruitment.

Other documents have to provided no later than till the start of the academic year:

  1. Doctor’s certificate with its translation made by a certified translator, stating that his/her holder can pursue the programme of the study of his/her choice;
  2. Valid visa or residence card or any other document confirming the holder’s right to stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland;
  3. Insurance policy covering its holder in case of any illness or accident during the period of study in Poland or a certificate confirming that the student has become a member of the Polish Health Fund immediately after commencement of study.

Since the Chemistry Master Study is encompassed by the EU project, the prospective students may be considered for:

  • a full tuition fee waiver (for 25 international students),
  • maintenance grants up to 1500 PLN per month for a period of 20 months (top 20 international students),
  • participation in a summer school.

Other students willing to study Chemistry will have to pay a tuition fee of 3200 Euro per year.
